Day #2
- Tour of Tortuguero – Day 1
Leave your hotel in the morning. Admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension. Have a taste of our delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route. Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port and let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious Lunch as we welcome you to PACHIRA LODGE. After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of tourtuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge. (B/L/D).

This small and cozy lodge, especially designed for the complete enjoyment of the natural marvels of the Tortuguero National Park, is located on a narrow strip of land between the Caribbean Sea and the Tortuguero Lagoon. - Tour of Tortuguero – Day 2OPTIONAL MORNING TOUR: Enjoy nature its best as you undertake a journey through the canals at dawn, and take your best short of a real Caribbean sunrise. Discover Costa Rican flavors as you enjoy breakfast at PACHIRA LODGE. Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. Take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals or just relax. OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). (B/L/D).

Day #4
- Tour of Tortuguero – Day 3 (Arenal Drop Off)
Breakfast at the lodge. Departure to Arenal Volcano. Lunch en route. Change to private bus in Sarapiquí. Arrival in Arenal late afternoon. (B/L)

Day #5
- Arenal Volcano Observation Hike and Baldí Hot Springs with Dinner
Hike through the tropical rain forest to a prime volcano observation point where you can see the natural phenomenon of an active volcano spewing lava rocks before your eyes. Then enjoy the beautifully manicured hot springs gardens and dinner. Includes beverages, snacks, entrance to the hot springs, buffet dinner and a bilingual guide. What to bring: comfortable shoes, long pants, bathing suit, towel, camera and binoculars.

Day #6
- Rain Forest River Float and Safari (approx. 5 hours)
We start with a brief 20-minute drive to the lower Peñas Blancas River in an air-conditioned van. From there we launch inflatable rafts on this slower moving section of the river. Enjoy a relaxing 2-hour float with no motor, only the incredible sounds of nature around you. Our expert bilingual naturalist guide will describe the many different flora and fauna of the region. Along the way it is possible to see 2 species of sloth’s, monkeys, 3 species of Toucans, crocodiles, Jesus Christ Lizards, caimans, different colored iguanas, mammals, and a variety of birds. The second part of the tour includes a stop at the farm of Don Pedro Farm where you will visit with a famous local farmer and his family will prepare wonderful Tico snacks for you to enjoy. Includes: Snacks, beverages, transportation, and bilingual guide included. What to bring: comfortable clothes, sandals, camera, binoculars, sunscreen and insect repellent.

- Jeep/Boat/Jeep Transfer from Arenal to Monteverde

Enjoy a hike to this private reserve where you will observe a great diversity of plants and animals. More than 150 species of birds have been identified on the trails of this reserve. Includes transportation, guide and entrance fee. What to Bring: comfortable, shorts or pants, camera, sun block, insect repellant.

Day #8
- Sky Walk/ Sky Trek Combination Tour (approx. 4 ½ hours)
Skywalk is an unforgettable experience. The excitement of looking to one side and seeing the tops of trees and at the same time feeling the sensation of walking among the clouds is not easily forgotten. Then, enjoy the secure system of trails and zip lines, in the Monteverde Cloud Forest that offers visitors the opportunity to observe and appreciate the nature from different vantage points. Dangling from a cable and harness, you traverse from platform to platform, high off the ground, via a combination of pulleys, cables and suspension bridges that hurtle you through the treetops. If you want excitement, this is where to find it! What to Bring: hiking boots or tennis shoes, shorts or pants, camera, sun block, insect repellant.

Day #9
- Shuttle Transfer from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio (8:00 a.m. pick up, approx 4 hrs)

Hotel offers both spacious family and adult sections for vacation living. Two pools are available for families. Anaconda restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Breakfast not included.
Day #10
- Manuel Antonio National Park Tour (approx. 5 hours, morning)
One of the areas most popular tours introducing visitors to the most beautiful park in Costa Rica. A great diversity of wildlife, park entrance, snacks, beverages, and bilingual guide included. What to Bring: camera, t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, insect repellent, sun block.

Day #11
- Catamaran Island Adventure (9:00 a.m. approx 4 hours)
Cruise many protected islands only accessible by boat. Observe coastal wildlife such as dolphins, migrating humpback whales, sea turtles, manta rays, and more! Cruise through the aquamarine waters toward the spectacular and scenic coastline of Manuel Antonio National Park. After touring the coastline, we will anchor in a protected cove within the pristine Biesanz Bay for snorkeling. Tour includes transportation, fruit, lunch, drinks, and snorkeling equipment. What to bring: swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, and camera.
